JB062 is a potent and selective nonmuscle myosin inhibitor with IC50 values of 1.6, 5.4 and >100 μM against skeletal, myocardial, and smooth muscle myosin II. JB062 is cytotoxic to human cancer cells but not to normal cells. JB062 can be used to study muscle spasm, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and chronic musculoskeletal pain.
