生物活性

Ac-YVAD-CMK is a selective caspase-1 (IL-1beta converting enzyme, ICE)) inhibitor with neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory effects. Ac-YVAD-CMK effectively suppresses the expression of IL-1β and IL-18. Ac-YVAD-CMK inhibits pyroptosis in many diseases.

Ac YVAD-CMK (40 μM or 80 μM) reduces the expression of IL-1 β and IL-18 in activated microglia cells in vitro.

体内研究

Compared with the ICH group, Ac YVAD CMK treatment (1 μg/rat; SD rats; The injection into the left ventricle significantly reduced the protein levels of caspase-1 (p20) and mature IL-1 β/IL-18.
Using logarithmic rank analysis, Ac YVAD CMK (rats receiving a dose of 12.5 μMol/kg ac YVAD cmk) significantly reduced mortality from 83% to 33%.

此方案可获得 ≥ 2.08 mg/mL (3.84 mM，饱和度未知) 的澄清溶液。

以 1 mL 工作液为例，取 100 μL 20.8 mg/mL 的澄清 DMSO 储备液加到 400 μL PEG300 中，混合均匀；向上述体系中加入50 μL Tween-80，混合均匀；然后继续加入 450 μL生理盐水定容至 1 mL。
