1-Palmitoyl-2-linoleoyl-sn-glycero-3-PC is a phosphatidylcholine phospholipid. 1-Palmitoyl-2-linoleoyl-sn-glycero-3-PC and oxidized derivatives serve as models for investigating lipid peroxidation, membrane structure, and phospholipase A2 activity. 1-Palmitoyl-2-linoleoyl-sn-glycero-3-PC can be applied in research on atherosclerosis, oxidative stress, and the properties of lipid bilayers.

体外研究

1-Palmitoyl-2-linoloyl-sn-gycero-3-PC (20 min hydration, 30 min vacuum drying, 30 min centrifugation) exhibits characteristic fluid membrane acyl chain ordering, and a baseline level 28% H2 bonded nitrogen oxygen radical population exists in the central region of the bilayer membrane, with an Azz polarity parameter of 3.28 mT.
The polarity/protonation of the sub head region of 1-Palmitoyl-2-linolinoyl-sn-glyco-3-PC remains unchanged at low temperatures, while the proportion of nitrogen oxygen free radicals bound by hydrogen bonds in the central region of the bilayer is 28%.
1-Palmitoyl-2-linoloyl-sn-gycero-3-PC (0.75 mg/mL LDL; 0.5-7 h) undergoes free radical oxidation in human low-density lipoprotein (LDL), forming PLPC hydroperoxides and alcohols over time; After 7 hours, nearly 15% of endogenous PLPC was oxidized. The inhibitory effect of alpha tocopherol on the oxidation of PLPC on LDL surface is relatively weak.
