Bleomycin solution (100 mg/mL) is a sterile solution that has been filtered and sterilized, and can be directly used for animal experiments and cell culture experiments. The main ingredient of this product is bleomycin A2/B2, which is a DNA damaging agent that exerts anti-tumor and cytotoxic effects by inhibiting DNA synthesis. It is the most commonly used inducer for constructing animal models of pulmonary fibrosis.

Bleomycin D1 selective antibiotic, sterile solution (100 mg/mL) is a filtered and sterilized antibiotic solution that can be directly used for cell culture. Bleomycin D1 selective antibiotic is derived from Streptomyces verticillus, a member of the bleomycin family. It is an alkaline, water-soluble, copper chelated glycopeptide antibiotic that is toxic to bacteria, fungi, plants, and mammalian cells. The Sh ble gene, derived from Streptococcus hindustanus, encodes a 14 kDa protein that selectively binds to Bleomycin D1 and prevents it from binding to cellular DNA, thereby making cells resistant to Bleomycin D1. Therefore, Bleomycin D1 selective antibiotics can be used to screen/maintain stable transfected cell lines carrying the Sh ble gene in culture.
