生物活性

Droloxifene, a Tamoxifen derivative, is an orally active and selective estrogen receptor modulator. Droloxifene shows antiestrogenic and anti-implantation effects. Droloxifene induces p53 expression and apoptosis in MCF-7 cells. Droloxifene prevents bone loss in ovariectomized rats .

体外研究

Droloxifene (10 nM; 16-18 hours) induces apoptosis in MCF-7 cells.

体内研究

Droloxifene (5-20 mg/kg; p.o.; daily for 4 weeks) increases BMD of DFM at 10mg/kg, and completely prevents the decrease of BMC and BMD of DFM induced by ovariectomized (OVX) at 20 mg/kg/day.

Animal Model:	5-month-old sham-operate rats
Dosage:	5, 10, 20 mg/kg
Administration:	Oral; daily for 4 weeks
Result:	BMD of DFM increased significantly at 10mg/kg; completely prevented the decrease of BMC and BMD of DFM induced by OVX at 20 mg/kg/day.

Solubility: ≥ 5 mg/mL (12.90 mM); Clear solution

此方案可获得 ≥ 5 mg/mL (12.90 mM，饱和度未知) 的澄清溶液，此方案不适用于实验周期在半个月以上的实验。
以 1 mL 工作液为例，取 100 μL 50.0 mg/mL 的澄清 DMSO 储备液加到 900 μL玉米油中，混合均匀。
