生物活性

Chlorhexidine is an antibacterial used as an antiseptic and for other applications. Chlorhexidine is used to clean the skin after an injury, before surgery, or before an injection. Chlorhexidine is also used to clean the hands before a procedure.

体内研究

Chlorhexidine gluconate (ip) reduces postoperative intra-abdominal infection in mice at the end of colon surgery.

Animal Model: One hundred and eighty male Imprinting Control Region (ICR) mice at 6 to8-wk-old (body weight, 25 ± 3 g) were randomized to six groups.
Dosage: Chlorhexidine gluconate 0.05%, and Chlorhexidine gluconate 0.025%.
Administration: One-time intraperitoneal injection.
Result: A total of 48 mice (26.7%) developed postoperative intra-abdominal abscesses. Mice that had Chlorhexidine gluconate 0.05% lavage had significantly lower incidence of postoperative intra-abdominal abscesses compared with that of group D mice that had saline lavage only (P = 0.0113). Microscopic peritoneal fibrosis occurred significantly more among group E mice that had Chlorhexidine gluconate 0.05% lavage compared with group D mice that had saline lavage only (P = < 0.005).

    请依序添加每种溶剂: 10% DMSO    40% PEG300    5% Tween-80    45% saline

    Solubility: ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (4.95 mM); Clear solution

    此方案可获得 ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (4.95 mM,饱和度未知) 的澄清溶液。

    以 1 mL 工作液为例,取 100 μL 25.0 mg/mL 的澄清 DMSO 储备液加到 400 μL PEG300 中,混合均匀;向上述体系中加入50 μL Tween-80,混合均匀;然后继续加入 450 μL生理盐水定容至 1 mL。

    请依序添加每种溶剂: 10% DMSO    90% (20% SBE-β-CD in saline)

    Solubility: ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (4.95 mM); Clear solution

    以 1 mL 工作液为例,取 100 μL 25.0 mg/mL 的澄清 DMSO 储备液加到 900 μL 20% 的 SBE-β-CD 生理盐水水溶液中,混合均匀。

    请依序添加每种溶剂: 10% DMSO    90% corn oil

    Solubility: ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (4.95 mM); Clear solution

    此方案可获得 ≥ 2.5 mg/mL (4.95 mM,饱和度未知) 的澄清溶液,此方案不适用于实验周期在半个月以上的实验。

    以 1 mL 工作液为例,取 100 μL 25.0 mg/mL 的澄清 DMSO 储备液加到 900 μL玉米油中,混合均匀。
